Research of Different Colleges

There are many types of different colleges. I learned that some of them are specifically made for many different fields of study such as medical health or law enforcement. Many colleges have a checklist of specific requirements for admission, but they may vary depending on the college. For example, a college may require you to get a 3.00 GPA and at least a 1200 on the SAT, while another college has requirements of 2.5 GPA and a 1400 on the SAT. I also noticed that there is a  varying number of different types of students by level and a varying number of majors available on each college. I also know that there are collges that are close to my house and far from here and into another state.
